Our presenter will be TMCA Credentialed Distinguished Mediator Mark Sims who will address issues, such as:

  • Dealing with the dynamics of CPS Mediations
  • The difference between CPS Mediations and typical family or Juvenile Court Mediations
  • How mediators can get involved in CPS Mediations
  • The intricacies of the CPS lexicon

The meeting will begin at 11:30 am for networking and the presentation begins at 12:00. One (1) hour of CE credit is available to attendees.

The meeting (including lunch) is free of charge for AAM members, and $10 for non-AAM members.

Mark SimsMr. Sims has practiced family law and other areas of general civil litigation in Travis and Williamson Counties and in Central Texas for twenty-two years. He is a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a Fellow in the Austin Bar Foundation. Mr. Sims has facilitated over thirty-five hundred mediations in family law cases and in matters involving other areas of civil litigation.
